Merge PDF files
Bring two or more PDFs together as one document, arranged however you like. Because the files stay on your own device, this is a safe way to combine contracts, statements and other private papers.
How to use it
- Add your PDF files by choosing them or dragging them onto the box. More can be added later.
- Use the arrow buttons to set the order.
- Press Merge PDFs, then download the combined file.
Private papers stay private
Think about the documents that usually need joining: bank statements for a mortgage, signed contracts, letters from a doctor, copies of identity documents. Many PDF websites send each of these to their own computers before doing anything with them.
TeddyPDF does the joining in your browser instead. Once the page has loaded, you can disconnect from the internet and it will carry on working, which is an easy way to check for yourself.
What the merged file contains
Each page arrives exactly as it was, and text you could select or search before can still be selected and searched. Two things are left behind: the clickable table of contents that some PDFs show in a side panel, and fillable form fields. If a file is locked with a password, the password has to come off first; Remove PDF password can do that as long as you know it.
Questions and answers
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
TeddyPDF handles up to 5 files at a time for free. Very large documents take longer to process, and a phone may run out of memory before a computer would.
Will a watermark appear on the merged PDF?
No. TeddyPDF does not add anything to your pages.
Can I merge a PDF that has a password?
Not while the password is on it. Take the password off first with Remove PDF password, which works if you know the password, and then merge as normal.
Does TeddyPDF upload my file?
No. Your browser does all the work, on your own device. Before it opens your file, this page shuts off its own ability to send or fetch anything, and your browser holds it to that.
