How to use it

How to write page numbers
Put commas between single pages and ranges. For example, 1-3, 5 gives you pages one to three plus page five, and 8- takes everything from page eight onwards. Pages are saved in the order you enter them, so typing 3, 1, 2 places page three at the front.
If you choose to make a separate file for each range, entering 1-3, 4-6 gives you two files: one holding pages one to three, the other holding pages four to six.
What comes across, and what does not
Your pages are copied without any change, and text that could be selected still can be. Fillable form fields are left out, as is the table of contents that some PDF readers show in a side panel. This tool cannot open a PDF that is protected by a password.
Questions and answers
Can I change the page order while splitting?
Yes. Pages come out in the order you type them, so entering 3, 1, 2 starts the new file with page three.
How do I take everything from one page to the end?
Type the first page number followed by a dash. For example, 8- means page eight through to the last page.
Can every page become a separate file?
Yes, that is one of the choices. When there are several files, you can download them together in a ZIP.
Does TeddyPDF upload my file?
No. Your browser does all the work, on your own device. Before it opens your file, this page shuts off its own ability to send or fetch anything, and your browser holds it to that.
